Privacy Policy

To deliver fuel to you, Gas Guys LLC collects only what the service needs:

• Contact details — your name, email address, and phone number.
• Delivery locations — the addresses where we fuel your vehicle (home and, if you add one, work), plus any access notes you give us (gate codes, parking spots).
• Vehicle information — year, make, model, color, license plate, and fuel-door side, so the technician fuels the right car.
• Service records — your fill-up requests, gallons delivered, charges, receipts, delivery-proof photos, and messages you exchange with our team in the app.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number goes directly from your device to Stripe and never touches our servers — we store only a Stripe reference to your saved card (like the brand and last four digits) so you can see which card is on file. Stripe's handling of your data is covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

We use your information to run the service: scheduling and completing fill-ups, charging your card for the amounts shown in the app, sending sign-in codes, receipts, and service notifications by email, responding to support requests, and keeping records we're required to keep for tax and accounting. That's it — we don't sell your information, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

We share data only with the service providers that run the app, and only what each needs to do its job:

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Resend — sending our transactional emails.
• Vercel — hosting the app and storing delivery-proof photos.
• Neon — our database.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a sale or reorganization of the business (in which case this policy continues to apply to it).

We keep your account information while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, vehicles, addresses, and saved-card link; we may retain billing records we need for tax and accounting purposes.

Your data is stored in access-controlled systems, transmitted over encrypted connections, and card details are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there's less to protect. If a breach affects your personal information we'll notify you as required by West Virginia law.

You can update your profile, addresses, and vehicles in the app at any time, and remove your saved card from the billing page. To delete your account entirely, email us and we'll take care of it. Transactional emails (sign-in codes, receipts, service updates) are part of how the service works, so they can't be opted out of while your account is active.

Gas Guys is not directed at children, and you must be 18 or older to hold an account. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
